I owned a competitor's pool that is almost identical and as soon as they become available I am getting this model. They are super easy for 2 people to put together but need patience and preparation is the most important part. You must be level and on a good surface, no stones, rocks, ect. The concept of using these horizontal poles to hold the water with the braces works great. But do it right. They weigh as much a a tractor-trailer so there is no shifting around once water is in the pool. Get the wrinkles out of the bottom before filling. Buy one and then deck 1/2 of it and it looks great in any neighborhood. I set a step down hot tub next to mine with a grill on the deck. Keep your pumps cleaned and on, chemicals current and sun tan lotion nearby and spend a great summer swimming and grilling.

Own a huge pool for a small amount.
32x16 pool supports
I set the pool up in a hurry last year and it was not level, It was about 3 inches out of level on one end. It did not fall down, after the season was over I drained the pool. The support blocks that it said to use (16x16 in) do not work, there are 22 support blocks needed on this pool, all but 7 broke , So I am trying something new this year, hope it works, I poured a 17 inch wide by 4 inches deep slab all the way around the pool for the supports to sit on. I filled where the pool will sit with 6 yards of sand. This was a lot of work for a 70 year old men, but the pool will be 100% level, And I will leave it up year round here in fl. We really had a good time with the pool last year, I made it a salt water pool, best move I made, pool stayed clear all year with very little up kept. GO SALT WATER.
Love my pool I bought it last July and we stay in it as much as we can:) big enough kids play on one end I float on the other. You will need at least six people to put it up
Just ended my 5th swim season with this pool. Love it.
LOVE the pool BUT...
My family loves this pool. There's a lot of prep work that goes into it but I love the size, and the saltwater system. We live in Wisconsin and leave it up all year. Just drain below the hoses and cover! With that said, went to go open for year four and noticed all 4 corners are severely rusted from the saltwater. Went to Intex website to order replacements and none are currently available. Sent them a message and haven't heard back yet (24 hours). Hopefully they help remedy this soon or it'll be a crappy summer!
Don't Waste Your Money!
1. When they say level, they mean level! Be prepared for the expense or work of accomplishing this. Your ground may look level, but it is not. 2. All of the accessories are cheap garbage that will last one season. The ladder will rust out, the vacuum hose will crack. 3. Plan on replacing all hoses every other year. 4. Plan on replacing the SWG every other year. 5. If not protected from the harsh western sun in summer, the sleeve over the top rail will begin to degrade in about year 4. 6. The metal support legs will rust! This means draining the pool to replace them. Plan on replacing ALL legs by the 5th season This may still be cheaper than a good pool, but it is a lot a work and frustration every season.
Run dont buy this nightmare!!!!!!
Worst pool ever! Instructions say nothing of cleaning the pool. Come to find out must spend another $100.00 plus for the skimmer and vacuum. Called Intex with questions the rep told us talk to the retailer for assistance. Nothing against US Deal Mall but their folks aren't trained in pool maintenance. Horrible set up instructions. We went to great lengths to insure level groung. Brought in over a ton of fill. The items they suggest to put under the suppprts are insuffient for the weight and broke now our pool has a 3 foot water level from end to end. Sorry we bought this monster! Our advice seek out another company!
Buy a different one
Needs no stars. Spent all last summer building a custom pad for this pool. Spent hundreds upon hundreds of dollars and countless hours making sure everything was level and ready to go for set up. Finally the day came took a day off work and with some help some from friends it went up. Started filling pool and got about ten inches in it and then waited for the water department to come and fill the rest of the way. Filled and everything was looking good. 6 hours later with no one around the pool and no one has even gotten into it one of the vinyl straps that holds the legs in snapped and threw the leg out which bent poles and legs. Now my pool is junk daughter and family disappointed and I am furious. You get what you pay for. Cheap pool cheap parts and a lot of headaches. Do yourself a favor and look for a different one. Pool is going back and we are going to be looking for a different supplier.
