Better way to set up pool.
I got my Intex 32X16 pool about 4 years ago, The first time I set it up by the book, Not good in Fl. sandy soil, Took it back down, poured a 20 inch slab all the way around where the supports sit. Then I fill in the center with sand. Set it back up, filled with water, it is level and as been here for four years without problem. It was hard to do with only two people, My wife in her 60's and me in my 70's got it done. I made it a saltwater pool, Best thing you will ever do, except the Intex salt machines suck, they last about one year, then you have to replace them. The newer ones have a through the wall skimmer box, which would be much better than the floating skimmer I have. The ladder that comes with the pool, throw it in the garbage, spent some money and buy a good one, the one have cost about $299.00 on E-bay, It is child prove with a lock. The sand filter and pump are pretty good.

Great Value

We didnt need to level. It is 2 or 3 inches deeper on one end. I'm fine with that. It doesnt keep us from enjoying it at all. It's very good quality. I suggest following some YouTube videos BEFORE you put it up. You need to go out every few hours and pull out the support bars as it fills. It took 2 adults and 2 teens 4 hours to put it up. It took about 1 whole day to fill. The pump could definitely be stronger. That's the only change I would make though. I adore this pool. We did purchase a better ladder, but it wasnt necessary. We adults wanted a sturdier one. You need a couple hundred pounds of salt to fill the pool with initially.

stay away from these pools!!!!!

Horrible purchase 6 hours leveling 2 hours setting the pool up and ten minutes of water and seams are leaking. . .... Total of 1500.00 dollars wasted on this item. US Deal Mall said shippers would pick it up for a refund!!!! But I have to disassemble and package for them to so it. How am I going to pick something up that they needed a forklift to load.

Overpriced

Why is the cost 700.00 dollars more than from the Intex manufacturer?

1. You don't have to take it down you just have to always keep water in it and cover the pump to protect it from the rain and freeze with old blankets and tarp.
